  1. Yeah, that’s some dodgy rigging and/or importing from the mocap, as well as poor data handling for those overlapped characters. Animation is wonky, too, but that looks to me like a failure at multiple parts in the motion team.

    …speaking as a guy who specialized in rigging and animation at BYU, anyway.

    Thing is, almost all of this could and should have been fixed long before release. As in, not even when they are doing final polish pass looking at in-engine samples, but during the rigging and data import phase before an animator even touches it.

  2. That second one?! What am I even seeing?! I feel like I’m seeing MEA’s version of the first Iron Man movie when his armor was first booting up.
