Finding Flaws in Cloverfield Lane!

I just say 10 Cloverfield Lane this week, and while it was much better than I thought it would be, I could see why it didn’t do very well in the theaters: it’s not really made to be a people pleaser (unlike, say, a Marvel movie). It’s an unsettling sorta-thriller that’s fairly dark, and was never going to wow all the audiences.

That said, I did enjoy it quite a bit despite its flaws, many of which Cinema Sins correctly identifies. Oh, yeah, and SPOILERS. If you ever think you might enjoy the movie—and you should see it, it’s worth watching at least once—don’t watch this video until after you do.

Like I said, despite all those flaws, it’s a good movie, well worth watching at least once, if you like kinda dark thrillers. And John Goodman is amazing.

Just don’t make him angry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s angry.
