Most Hollywood directors do NOT know how to make audience-pleasing movies, and even his harshest critics have to admit, Michael Bay can pack the audiences in. That’s because he’s more concerned with helping the audience have fun, and less concerned with making “socially relevant” drek (which is, if you’ve never noticed, never very relevant at all.)

And The Rock is a fast-paced, fun, and funny shoot-em-up with a lot of familiar faces, even below the headliners (like Michael Biehn of Terminator and Aliens fame). If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch, and if you have…
