It’s the second day of Arkham Knight, and (except for those holding out for the Game of the Year Edition), most of you are no doubt enjoying kicking the crap out of bad guys and being mildly annoyed by the Batmobile’s handling.
To celebrate another day of Bat-mania, I give you “7 Facts About The Dark Knight You (Even You!) Probably Didn’t Know”.
It’s no secret I’m a fan of The Dark Knight, which I hold up as the best superhero movie ever made. Even the movie’s flaws (of which there are a few) are the flaws of grand cinematic ambition being forced to contend with the limitations of mundane reality.
Despite those limitations, the movie dares, and dares big, and succeeds in making a movie that, despite being smaller in scope than Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, still feels more epic and moving.
You don’t have to destroy New York for a movie to feel momentous, threatening a boat load of innocents and criminals can get the job done just as well.
