What If Star Wars Were A John Hughes Movie?

John Hughes. John Hughes. John freakin’ Hughes. For God’s sake, he wrote or directed:

  • Sixteen Candles
  • The Breakfast Club
  • Pretty in Pink
  • Some Kind of Wonderful
  • Home Alone
  • Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

Some of the best movies ever. Ever. Especially Ferris Bueller.

But what if he’d done Star Wars? Maybe it’d look like this:

Luke and Leia as 1980's high school movie students.
Luke. Leia. Played by Michael J. Fox and Molly Ringwald, of course.

But wait, there’s more… at the link.

(Note that, even in the ’80’s, Han shot first!)

  1. Wow… for as silly as the fundamental idea behind this might be, the execution is really good… I find myself wanting to see more of the story…
